As amazing as medical science is, this book's protocol should be primary and modern medicine the alternative! I have read several of the books in this series, and with a medical back ground, I appreciated the scientific insights provided. However, it's the spiritual insights that make this book exceptional. “Freedom From Allergies” is not about suppression of symptoms. Authentic healing occurs when the spiritual and emotional roots of allergies are exposed and eliminated. I highly recommended it.

If you have allergies, this book is a must read!! Dr. Robert Campbell outlines the various aspects of allergies, what God's word says is true and how you can use God's truth to attain your freedom. There is a root to every illness, or disease. Allergies are not excluded from this - there is a root. And the good news it is completely possible to root it out and be free. While I personally have not had to battle allergies, I've had close friends that have. I found this book to be educational, interesting, and very helpful. It is a holistic approach connecting the mind, soul, and body as a single entity rather than three separate parts. These three parts are interconnected and the information in the book is backed by medical research, case studies, with a personal touch! I am glad this book was recommended to me because as a person who deals with environmental allergies I was looking for a solution that doesn't follow the track of traditional medicine which deals with symptoms and not the cause. This book educates you on your immune system and how to get it into the proper balance to maintain optimum health for the whole person! We need to offer alternatives to humanity especially in America as we see medical costs and insurance costs sky rocketing making it unaffordable. The information in this book allows you to take charge of your own health!

Interesting Approach

Dr. Campbell is not a medical doctor--but then, he represents the Creator of the body in this book, so he actually has more credibility. I like the approach of this book--it first gives an overview of the problem, with numerous citations from the world of science and medicine. But then it takes an unexpected turn, not to some newly discovered allergy medicine, but to the root causes of allergies, things science is just beginning to give ear to. This is an interesting and informative book that can help find healing even beyond the world of allergy.
