Advancing in the Prophetic is a necessary component in the advancement of our spiritual walk with God. When the choice is made to follow Christ there are tests of character that stand facing every individual. Everyone must walk through these tests of character alone. God says in Deuteronomy that He tests His people. Deuteronomy 8:2 - And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart , whether you would keep His commandments or not. It is the same in the area of the prophetic. There is much to be gained by rehearsing what the Bible says about integrity. The Bible calls for a people wholly set apart for God and His purposes. In training people to hear God?s voice it would be a shame to not emphasize the need to live a life completely set on pleasing the One who gave His life as a ransom for all mankind. My heart is to see the saint?s movement fully clad with the same integrity, honesty and trust that Christ Himself possessed. A clarion call to present ourselves approved unto God is still resounding through the hallways of Heaven. That call has not changed or diminished. Society and culture have tried to taint and devalue a holy, dedicated and selfless life. Yet, the Bible continues to challenge believers with conviction. I remember Rick Joyner once saying that a dead man cannot feel rejection. I would add that a dead man also cannot walk in the flesh. May we all seek to crucify the old nature and habits in exchange for the very character and nature of God.
